Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a specialized technique that can be used to treat trauma, or PTSD, as well as Peak Performance coaching. It was discovered by Francine Shapiro, Ph.D, in a successful effort to cope with her personal medical issue. Since then, it has been used to successfully treat combat veterans, accident victims, as well as "normal personal trauma" such divorce, grief, being fired, as well as the issues related to retirement.

I received my training from founder Francine Shapiro, Ph.D. and have specialized in EMDR since 1994.

I use EMDR, and its cousin, Brainspotting, developed by David Grand as primary methods to help clients cease reliving old tapes, or scripts, in their lives. In addition, EMDR can be used for calming down emotions, stress management, increasing creative thinking, improving sports performance, and opening your mind to new ideas. I personally use it when I am creating new material for presentations and writing.

If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?
